Furthermore, it addresses the complex issues of coping with sexual abuse and violence, severance from family and society and experiences of victimizations and loss of control, by using contemporary treatment methods. Discussions were held on complex issues viewed from another perspective that drew upon the Jewish culture for understanding and empowerment. Like Bibliotherapy, Beit Midrash “Dina” uses ancient Jewish texts as tools for enhancing the understanding of ‘silenced victims’. It empowers professional women and enriches their knowledge and therapeutic tools. Participants’ Feedback: ‡ The workshop was an enriching and educational experience for the staff.
