Changing and Planning a Political and Social Agenda I n Partnership with: The National Council for the Child
Goal: Using tools of legislation, public advocacy and social change, and monitoring government policy and implementing it, as a means of bringing the phenomenon of child maltreatment to top governmental priority and as a means of decreasing its occurrence. Target Population: Policy-makers (Knesset members, the government).

Developing a National Index - Measuring and Monitoring the Phenomenon I n Partnership with: The Brookdale Institute Goal: To provide comprehensive and reliable information on the scope of the phenomenon of maltreated children in Israel, and enable follow-up of changes for the long-term from the local, and even international, perspective, with the aim of helping to plan policy, allocate resources and initiate programs in the field. Target Population: Policy-makers and the general public.

The Initiative to Prevent the Shaken Baby Syndrome I n Partnership with: The National Council for the Child Goal: To train professionals and parents, raise awareness and disseminate information on how to cope with babies’ crying and prevent the shaking of babies. Target Population: Doctors and nurses, parents and educators working with infants and preschoolers.
Number of Sessions: Throughout the year
Participants: Parents of infants who come to the infant-care centers
