TRAINING COURSES FOR HOSPITAL MEDICAL STAFFS

Training Hospital Emergency Room Staffs at Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem, the French Hospital, Nazareth, Carmel and Rambam, Haifa, Shaare Zedek, Jerusalem January – March, June 2018 In collaboration with: The Ministry of Health Goal: To provide tools for detecting maltreated children, and their treatment, with an understanding of the consequences of such abuse for both the short-term and the long-term. Target Population: Doctors, nurses and social workers in the hospitals’ children’s wards. Number of Sessions: A total of 26: 12 in Hadassah, Jerusalem (four series); 3 in Rambam, Haifa; 3 in Shaare Zedek, Jerusalem, 6 in the French Hospital, Nazareth and 2 in Carmel Hospital, Haifa

Number of Participants: 60

Budget : NIS 120,000

Training Staff at Hospitals of the Clalit HMO Health Services October 2017 – January 2018, October – December 2018 In collaboration with: Clalit HMO health services Goal: To provide the medical staff with tools to cope with situations in which there is suspicion of maltreatment of children. Target Population: Doctors and nurses of the Clalit HMO hospitals.

Number of Sessions: Two courses, of 3 sessions and 8 sessions

Number of Participants: 55

Location: Tel Aviv

Budget : NIS 19,000
