Training Emergency Center Staff October – November 2019
Training programs for emergency centers continued through 2019. This year two training programs were held for two emergency centers, the Shavit Emergency Center in Tel-Aviv, and the Ultra-Orthodox emergency center in Jerusalem. A workshop was held In the Jerusalem Ultra-Orthodox center that addressed secondary traumatization in professionals and coping skills. At the Shavit Center in Tel Aviv the workshop addressed treating children who have undergone trauma and children with sensory regulation challenges. The training programs were attended by staff members including social workers, counselors and centers' housemothers.
