ילדים בתווך

המקצוע בהבנה של כמה עולמות תוכן, בהם דינמיקה משפחתית, חשיפה ממושכת של ילדים לטראומה וכן שיח עם ילדים. אי אפשר להפריז בתיאור החשיבות של הימנעות מהתערבויות פולשניות עם ילדים במצבים אלה, שכן הילדים נמצאים בתווך, במלכוד היוצר טראומה, והתערבות בשדה הטראומה – כפי שידוע ומבוסס היטב בשדה האמפירי – אסור שתהיה פולשנית וכוחנית. עוד סוגיה שעולה מהמחקר שערכנו, וחיוני לחדד אותה, נוגעת לחוסר הידע האמפירי והפרקטי על אבחנה מבדלת של פגיעה בקשר הורה-ילד שהיא תוצר של סכסוך מול פגיעה בקשר הורה-ילד שהיא תוצר של אלימות במשפחה. להיעדר זה של אבחנה מבדלת עשויות להיות השלכות מכריעות בתחום של הגנה על ילדים ומניעת קבלת החלטות פוגעניות בעניינם. לכן הכרחי שבקבלת החלטות במקרים מורכבים אלה, שיש בהם ספק בקשר לפגיעה בילדים, אנשי המקצוע המעורבים יהיו מומחים גם בתחום של פגיעה בילדים.
