Vladimir and Estragon — two weary wanderers, perhaps friends, perhaps just two people trying to survive, are waiting next to a tree. They are waiting for a mysterious figure named Godot, who may or may not come. During this time of waiting, small moments of grace unfold: absurd jokes, quiet pain and wild humor. The two discuss shoes, vegetables, time, the significance of things; and above all, the dead end situation, which is at the base of our existence.
Waiting for Godot is one of the great theatrical masterpieces of all time. Between nothingness and hope, between laughter and horror, emerges a rare theatrical experience that continues to echo in one's heart long after the curtain drops.
