Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi is oneof the top-3 largest global automotive players. TheAlliance Innovation LabTLV serves as abridgebetween the 3 companies’ technical teams around theglobe, and the Israeli Automotive start-ups ecosystem. The Labaims toadvance state-of-the-artmobility, with a main focus on: - Sensors for ADAS and in-cabin experience, - Cybersecurity, - EV, - Data & AI. Its mission is to identify and test Israeli technologies that could be implemented in future cars and services offered by the Alliance member companies. The Lab collaborates with the local innovation ecosystem through joint prototyping efforts. To date, it has led about 35 collaborative projects and POCs with Israeli start-ups. The Lab, located inParkAtidimTLV, builds ona unique 1600m2 facilitywhichprovides startupswith space to test technologieswith real vehicles, aswell as on a teamof engineers permanently located in Israel. Since 2018, it has also operated under the Technological Labs program of the Israeli Innovation Authority. In parallel to the Lab’s activity, the Alliance invested in the Israeli ManivMobility Fund as well as directly in two Israeli startups, Upstream Security and Otonomo.
