Dana Frost , ICA Public Information, Prevention and Health Promotion Director, participated on behalf of the ICA. World No Tobacco Day Conference As part of its activity in the coalition of organizations working to prevent smoking, and with assistance from MK Osher Shkalim , a conference and deliberation panel was held on smoking prevention in May at the Israeli parliament. The conference was led by Ira Tolchin , ICA's Health Promotion Specialist. The conference dealt with ways to achieve a smoke-free Israel and in the mutual responsibility to reach the vision of a smoke-free Israel. The 33rd Annual Conference of the Israeli Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (ISPHO) In June, the Annual Conference of the Israeli Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (ISPHO) took place at the Cassia Hotel in Jerusalem. Dr. Shifra Ash , Head of the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology and Chairman of ISPHO, received funding to invite two international experts: Prof. Alan J. Marren and Dr. Daniel Morgenstern , who participated in the conference. Dr. Shifra Ash also gave the opening speech, and Lili Biller-Lev , ICA Deputy CEO, gave four awards on behalf of the ICA to outstanding residents: • Dr. Hilla Dias Pollack , Ruth Rappaport Children's Hospital, Rambam Medical Campus. • Dr. Shir Rubin , Schneider Children's Hospital. • Dr. Amit Ringel , Dana-Dwek Children's Hospital, Sourasky Medical Center. • Dr. Talia Florence Cafri Hazan , Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center. The Israeli Society of Nursing Oncology In June, the annual Israeli Society of Psycho-oncology conference for promoting psycho-oncology was held at the exhibitions grounds in Tel Aviv. Like every year, the ICA gave out excellence awards. ICA rehabilitation and Support Director, Orit Spira, gave two outstanding awards to oncology nurses:

• Nursing Oncology research development award to Mrs. Shir Fekter from, Schneider Children's Hospital, Rabin Medical Campus.

Like every year, participants showed interest in the ICA stand featured at the conference with updated information material.
