Throughout the year, ICA volunteers set up information booths alongside the ICA's mammography mobile unit, which operates in collaboration with Assuta Medical Centers, and helped promote awareness events for early detection throughout the country. Supporting Patients As part of the branch activities, the volunteers personally accompany patients throughout their journey, refer them to appropriate ICA services, and promote the activities, classes, and workshops held in the various branches. Distributing Gift Packages in Oncology Units Across The Country This year, we expanded the ICA's volunteer project, 'ICA - With You and For You', which includes visits and distribution of gift packages in oncology departments throughout the country. Branch volunteers coordinated visits and went to check on the well-being of patients, talk to them, tell them about the ICA activities including in the branches, and give them strength and support. The volunteers were very moved to meet the patients and their loved ones, who accompany them throughout their battle with cancer, and witness the dedicated care of the medical staff.
