האגודה למלחמה בסרטן בישראל (ע"ר) היבטים סיעודיים ופסיכו-סוציאליים

כ”סחורה פגומה” או כ”סוג ב”. התייחסות זו גוררת לעיתים הימנעות מביצוע הבדיקות לנשאות, או מקבלת התשובה, במטרה למנוע את ההתמודדות הלא פשוטה, במרכזה עומדת השאלה האם לגלות לבן זוג המיועד על הנשאות או לא. מדובר בבעיה מורכבת הן מההיבט האתי הכרוך בהסתרת המידע, והן מההיבט הרפואי: הסתרה כזו עלולה לגרום לחולי הן של הנשאית, והן של ילדיה. ההשפעה של מצב זה מתוארת, על ידי אחת הנשאיות שפגשנו, במלוא עוצמתה, בציטוט הבא: “היסטוריה משפחתית של סרטן שד והשחלות פוגעת בנו בדרכים רבות ואומללות. היא

משפיעה באופן שלילי על ההערכה העצמית, ביטוי המיניות, הפוריות, ההחלטות לגבי קריירה, יחסים עם בני הזוג והילדים, ובעצם נוגעת ופוגעת בכל תחום בחיים”. סיכום כיום אין מעקב או טיפול אחד המוריד את הסיכון לחלות ב-%001. העדר פתרונות “מושלמים” ותשובות חד משמעויות באשר ליתרונות ולחסרונות של האופציות הטיפוליות השונות, מקשה על הליך קבלת ההחלטות. לאור ההשלכות המורכבות של מצב הנשאות על בריאותן הנפשית של הנשאיות, מוטלת החובה על אנשי המקצוע לטפל בנשים אלה,

טיפול פרטני המותאם לצרכים הפסיכו- סוציאליים של הנשים שאובחנו כנשאיות . התייחסות מתאימה BRCA מוטציה בגנים 2/1 המקיפה את שלל הנושאים בהתאם לתפיסת הנשאיות, תתרום למזעור הנזקים הנפשיים, ותסייע להן בהתמודדות היומיומית, במטרה לחיות חיים מלאים ובריאים. בנוסף יש צורך להמשיך ולחקור את תופעת הנשאות מההיבט הפסיכו-סוציאלי ולבדוק מה הן השיטות היעילות ביותר, כמו למשל טיפול פרטני, משפחתי ו/או קבוצתי, שעשוי לחזק אותן, במטרה ליצור חוסן נפשי לו הן זקוקות, בהתמודדות עם אתגרים הרי גורל.
