האגודה למלחמה בסרטן בישראל (ע"ר)

ישירות לבתירת הבלוטות, אך אם דגימת המחט שלילית, יש מקום לבצע חתך קפוא של בלוטת הזקיף, והשלמה לבתירת בלוטות מלאה, אם זו נמצאת חיובית. לגבי נשים שהבלוטות שלהן אינן חשודות קלינית, וההליך הניתוחי המתוכנן עבורן הנו כריתה חלקית של השד, אין צורך בהשלמת בירור על ידי אולטרסאונד או ביופסיית מחט, וכן אין צורך בחתך קפוא, מאחר שתוצאותיו לא ישפיעו על המשך הניתוח בבית השחי. בקרב נשים שאינן מתאימות לקבוצת המחקר המתוארת לעיל, יש לנהוג בשלב זה לפי ההמלצות הקודמות הדורשות ביצוע הליך , במקרים בהם בלוטות הזקיף נבדקו ALND ונמצאו חיוביות.
