Intervention occurs when a child is suffering from medical problems and the community services (such as the school, kindergarten, welfare services, etc.) sense that the child is not receiving proper care at home. The workers often encounter neglect and abuse of the child. The day’s program provided the supervisors with a simulation experience to help WKHP WUDLQ VWDII ZRUNHUV $GGLWLRQDO DFWLYLW\ GD\V DUH EHLQJ SODQQHG IRU WKH ZRUNHUV themselves in the near future. 7KH DFWLYLWLHV LQFOXGHG ƉYH GLIIHUHQW VFHQDULRV RQ FKLOG DEXVH SDUWLFXODUO\ QHJOHFW 7KH participants took part in the scenarios, received feedback from the actor, underwent interrogation, then viewed short video sections of their simulations and discussed the different issues of coping with the families.
