Feedback from the Participants of the Foster Care Services ‡ The topic of trauma of small children and its effect on them throughout their lives helped me focus on the period of childhood, and think how to identify trauma in childhood, as it affects the rest of one’s life. ‡ What especially moved me was the topic on how to talk about trauma: how to mediate between the parent and the child in traumatic situations where the trauma isn’t discussed. This gave the strength to address the trauma together with the parent.
